Greg Horsman is an Australian dancer and choreographer. He was born in Victoria, studied ballet in Geelong, Victoria, Australia with Peter Dickinson as a young child before training at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (V.C.A.S.) with Anne Woolliams. Whilst at V.C.A.S. he was a guest artist with the Dance Theatre of the Philippines in Manila and with the North Queensland Ballet. In 1982 he gained a place with the Australian Ballet, and was promoted to Principal Artiust in 1987. He has danced all the major roles in classical ballet and was part of Rudolph Nureyev's farewell tour. During his time with the Australian Ballet he was also guest artist with the Boston Ballet and The Kirov Ballet. Considered one of Australias finest ever classical dancers and along with his former wife Lisa Pavane was one of the most popular dance partnerships on stage.
